Terms of Service
Applies from service launch (effective date separately announced) · Service terms
document version 2026-10-04.1
Article 1. Purpose and Scope
ELDO (the "Service") is a financial data platform operated by GRETA Inc. (the "Company") that provides filing-based financial data, classification and analysis screens, and VCR reports covering listed companies in South Korea, the United States and Japan.
These Terms govern membership services. Payments and reward coupons are unavailable during beta. Paid terms — prices, billing cycle, auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds — will be published separately and consented to when sales begin; until then these Terms do not create a paid contract.
Article 2. Definitions
- "Member" means a user who agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and signed up with an email or Google account.
- "Free Trial" means the member-only content access period the Company grants per account when the member explicitly starts it.
- "Content" means everything the Service provides: data, charts, classification frameworks, VCR reports, glossary entries and more.
- "Plan" means a scope-of-use unit defined by the Company (Standard, Premium, Expert, etc.).
Article 3. Formation of the Agreement
The agreement is formed when you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the signup screen and complete email or Google verification. The Company records the version you agreed to (currently 2026-10-04.1), the language and the time.
The Service is intended for users aged 14 or over in South Korea, 13 or over in the United States and 15 or over in Japan. The Company does not collect your age, so proceeding with signup confirms you meet the requirement.
The Company may refuse or later terminate signups that use someone else's email without authority, pursue an improper purpose, or evade an existing restriction.
Article 4. Account and Security
You are responsible for the ownership of your signup email and, for password signups, for your password. Accounts may not be shared or transferred.
A sign-in session expires 7 days after the last activity and no later than 90 days after issue regardless of activity. Up to 3 sessions may be active per account; beyond that, the least recently active session is ended first. You can end sessions on other devices from the Settings screen in the account menu.
Report any unauthorized use of your account immediately to dev_virgo@the-greta.com.
Article 5. Free Trial
An account created with an email link or Google receives one free trial of 31 days per account, starting only when the member selects Start free trial.
The trial starts without a payment method and never converts into a paid plan or produces a charge when it ends. After the trial, member-only content becomes restricted; to continue you follow the process the Company announces (a plan subscription once paid sales begin).
Article 6. Service Content, Changes and Suspension
The Service operates as a beta. Financial data originates from public regulatory filings such as DART, SEC and EDINET, and the Company notes that collection and processing may involve update delays or gaps.
The Company may add or change features, screens and data scope, and may suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, incidents or legal compliance. Material changes or suspensions are announced on the Service or by email.
If the Company can no longer provide the paid services because it closes the business or for a similar reason, it notifies you on the Service and by email to your account email at least 30 days before the end date, and takes no automatic renewal payment after that date. Until the end date you can keep using the Service under your current terms of use. The fee for any subscription period remaining after the end date is refunded pro rata by day. Refunds are based on the amount actually paid (including tax), are made through Paddle to the original payment method under the Refund Policy, and do not include amounts discounted by reward coupons.
Article 7. Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct
Members may view and use the Content for personal, non-commercial research, learning and investment judgement. Intellectual property in the Content belongs to the Company or its rightful owners; the Company claims no ownership of raw financial data from public sources.
- Commercial redistribution or resale of the Content, or use to build a competing service
- Bulk collection or download by automated means (scraping, crawling)
- Account sharing, circumventing access restrictions, reverse engineering or tampering with the Service
- Use that infringes others' rights or violates law or public order
Article 8. Investment Information Disclaimer
Data, analyses and reports on the Service are provided for information only and are not investment solicitation, investment advice or financial advice for any specific product. Investment decisions and their outcomes are your own responsibility.
The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the Content; errors or corrections in source filings and collection delays may cause displayed values to differ from reality.
Article 9. Withdrawal and Restrictions
You may withdraw directly from the Settings screen in the account menu at any time. An account with an active password credential confirms with that password; any other account confirms with a verification code sent to its registered email. Withdrawal completes immediately without separate administrator approval. An active paid subscription is cancelled immediately on withdrawal, and the Company pays the proportional refund in Section 6 of the Refund Policy as a Company additional benefit. Regardless of withdrawal, you may also request a refund under Paddle’s Refund Policy. If a payment or refund is still being processed, please request withdrawal again after that processing finishes. If you still cannot withdraw after some time, please let us know at dev_virgo@the-greta.com; we will tell you the outcome within 10 days.
Once withdrawal is processed, every sign-in session ends and member-only content is no longer accessible. Destruction of personal data and any legally required separate retention follow the Privacy Policy.
Account closure does not extinguish existing cash-refund rights, and cash refunds do not require re-registration. Unused reward coupons are forfeited on account closure and are not restored. Details follow the Refund Policy.
If a member breaches these Terms or disrupts normal operation, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases).
Article 10. Paid Services and Reward Coupons
The Service is in closed beta, has not started paid sales and charges no fees. When paid plans go on sale, the selling entity, price with currency and tax, billing cycle and auto-renewal, delivery start, and withdrawal/cancellation/refund terms will be published first on the Pricing page and in the Refund Policy, with separate consent collected before payment.
Consent given when starting the free trial does not convert into a paid recurring subscription. Starting recurring billing, changing prices or auto-renewing each requires separate consent and prior notice at that time.
Paid transactions are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record. The billing currency follows the billing country entered at payment: Korean won (KRW) for South Korea, Japanese yen (JPY) for Japan and US dollars (USD) for every other country. All listed prices include tax, and the actual tax is calculated by Paddle. Report display currency is independent of the billing currency. The billing currency cannot be changed during a subscription; to change it, cancel the current subscription and subscribe again.
Launch prices apply until 24:00 on March 31, 2027 Hawaii time (19:00 on April 1, 2027 Korea time); new payments and renewals after that use the regular price. If the renewal price of an existing subscription increases, the Company notifies you up to twice, on the Service and by email to your verified account email, 30 to 22 days and 21 to 7 days before the first renewal at the new price (remaining notices are skipped once you consent or decline), and asks for your consent from 30 days before it applies. If you do not consent or do not respond, the subscription ends at the end of the current period without any additional charge. A subscription that first becomes subject to an increase less than 7 days before it would apply renews once at the current price and goes through the same notice and consent process before the following renewal.
Where Paddle processes a transaction as the Merchant of Record, Paddle’s Refund Policy applies in full, and no additional refund conditions, exceptions or refund windows elsewhere in these Terms or the Refund Policy apply to that transaction. Buyers may submit refund requests directly to Paddle. Separately, the Company provides the Company’s additional benefits set out in the Refund Policy, such as a proportional refund of the unprovided period on immediate cancellation under Section 6 of the Refund Policy; these do not prevent or reduce any refund under Paddle’s Refund Policy. Stopping renewal alone retains current access. See the Refund Policy for requests and reward-coupon restoration.
Changes to a higher plan take effect immediately after the quoted difference is accepted and paid. Changes to a lower plan and monthly/annual cycle changes apply at the next renewal. When a subscription payment made with a referral code is completed, the referrer and that member each receive one 20% reward coupon (once per member); the waiting period, validity, use, revocation and forfeiture of coupons follow the Refund Policy and do not affect whether or how much any payment is refunded.
Article 11. Compensation for Paid Service Outages and Limitation of Liability
If the Company suspends all or part of the Service, or cannot provide it because of an outage, during the period of a paid plan, it compensates you as follows. Time caused by reasons attributable to the member is excluded, and advance notice counts only if given on the Service or by email at least 24 hours before the suspension or outage begins.
If a suspension or outage occurs without advance notice and its total time exceeds 72 hours in one month, you may cancel the subscription, and the Company refunds the fee for the remaining period, including the unused period, and compensates your damages. The Company does not pay damages if it proves it was neither wilful nor negligent.
If you do not cancel after a suspension or outage without advance notice, the Company adds to your plan period, free of charge, three times the suspension or outage time where the Company is responsible, or the same amount of time where it was caused by force majeure or a third party's unlawful act.
For a suspension or outage announced in advance, the Company adds to your plan period, free of charge, the same amount of time if the total in one month is 10 hours or less, or 10 hours plus twice the excess if it is more than 10 hours. Up to 24 hours a month of facility inspection and maintenance for service improvement are not counted.
Where time cannot be added (for example, the subscription has already been cancelled or ends because renewal was stopped), the fee for that time is refunded pro rata by day. Extensions apply without your request, and refunds are made through Paddle to the original payment method under the Refund Policy.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for special, indirect or consequential damages in connection with the free service. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
The Company is not liable for damages from outages caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, network failures or suspension of the source filing authorities' services, unless it acted wilfully or negligently; paid plan periods are still extended as set out above.
Article 12. Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are first addressed through consultation via the contact below; where litigation is necessary it is brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Mandatory rules of a user's own country are not excluded where they apply.
Article 13. Changes to the Terms
The Company may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes, with their effective date and reasons, are posted on the Service or sent by email at least 7 days before they apply (30 days for changes that are material or unfavourable to members). Members who do not agree may request withdrawal, in which case an active paid subscription is cancelled immediately and the Company pays the proportional refund in Section 6 of the Refund Policy as a Company additional benefit.
Supplementary Provisions
